ZURÜFEN, from the German verb zurückwerfen (to reflect), is a bar that would exist for one night only. It invites people to come and express how they feel about life and society—any way they desire. It is an open ended experience, informed by the performance of its guests.

The identity is overall inspired by the German Expressionism movement. Their ethos of releasing their interior anguish through dynamic expression is reflected throughout, with a pattern born from a Moiré optical illusion and visceral imagery in the logo. The bar also makes use of projections in the interior/exterior to exemplify its temporal nature.
